​​Penne with Basil Sundried Tomato Cream Sauce

Featuring: Gourmet Sweet Botanicals MicroGreen Basil Italian
Gourmet Sweet Botanicals Basil Blossoms
Serves 4
1-4 oz pack of MicroGreen Basil Italian
8 Basil Blossoms (4 for seasoning, 4 for garnish)
1 box Penne Pasta (cook per package instructions)
1 medium Squash
1 medium Zucchini
4 medium Tomatoes
1 clove of Garlic chopped
1/2 cup Whipping Cream
1/2 Onion chopped
4 small Sundried Tomatoes
Salt, pepper, olive oil
Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Directions for Sauce: Sauté onions in olive oil for a couple of minutes on medium heat, then add garlic. Add sliced zucchini and squash. Sauté for a few minutes, then add tomatoes. Take Basil Blossoms, pull the blossoms off of the stem and stir in. Lower heat. After another few minutes, add 4 handfuls of
MicroGreen Basil Italian. Slowly pour in cream while stirring. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer and stir another couple of minutes. Add to penne pasta. Sprinkle shredded parmesan on top. Top with Gourmet Sweet Botanicals Micro Basil and Basil Blossoms to add intense
flavor and beauty!
